i have a group of shortcuts--winamp, aim, firefox, direct connect, and a folder. i set it so if i click on any of them, it will open the current instance instead of a new instance of the application. unfortunately, since winamp and AIM minimize to the system tray, i have to click on them twice to bring them to the front, as opposed to clicking once on the rest of them. i can minimize winamp and aim to the taskbar, but i am looking to

thanks for helping though
meh, i don't really want a systray dock, because that won't show a winamp/aim icon when they aren't running. i want one icon for winamp, aim, firefox, etc. regardless of whether they are running or not.
or if there was some way to make tasks from the systray come to the front with only one click, that would work even better
ok i sort of figured out the problem but i still need help. i realized i can still have the setting checked to open current instances. the reason winamp and AIM take two clicks to pop up are because they minimize to my system tray (which i dont display), and not the taskbar. if i set winamp to minimize to the taskbar, it will only take one click from the shortcut/quicklaunch. but that defeats the whole purpose of things--i don't want winamp
it takes only one click to bring up your active instance of firefox, and folders?
also, i'm using lightstep, not explorer... i don't think that is causing the problem, but i could be wrong.
yeah, im using a standard dock. free version--would the plus version fix this problem? all quicklaunch/shortcut items lead to their .exe targets, not to shortcuts.
i have five quicklaunch buttons--winamp, aim, firefox, direct connect, and a folder. i want to check "...and if clicked, shortcut should show currently running..." but when i do, it takes two clicks to open winamp, i'd rather it one. one click on aim opens my open aim windows--not what i want. two will do that and open my buddylist. and one click to open up firefox, direct connect, and the folder--which is what i want for all
