Hi, I had this same problem about a year or two ago, and, had at that time found the solution here on the forums but for the life of me I cannot find it on here now. The problem: I applied a Windowsblind skin and just noticed that it had changed my system tray icons (ones next to the time) to look old and block like, like maybe a lower resolution maybe? Does anyone know the fix for this? wished i would have wrote it down the last time i found it :/ <stro

Hey everyone, Just curious about something, I waited for Deskscapes to be xp compatible and downloaded it when it was suppose to be but could never get it to work properly. I kept it installed and kept updating it all the way to ver. 3 I think. Still could not get it to work so I just got frustrated with it and uninstalled it. The problem I had was evertime I would run it the selected dream would open in a window and not on my background and then when I would try to quit it ev
Honestly I am not sure, but I think I did because if I remeber right at the bottom of Impulse it said I had ver. 6. something (Beta) and the update was ver 7. And it seems I might have had the beta installed cause I remember although it was ver. 6 it had the new interface that ver. 7 has and that is why I downloaded it. But unchecking show prereleases allowed a flawless update and cured my Windowblinds error :)
Thank you for the quick replies - And especially thank you Hankers (problem solved) For anyone else with same problem here is what worked for me - I still have no idea why Windowblinds started erroring in the first place, but here is how I got it fixed - On Hankers first suggested link a user mentioned unchecking "show pre-releases" in the Impulse preferences. I did that and tried the update, this time it finished without the "download is bigger than expected" e
Ok heres the skinny of my problem - Today I go to open Windowblinds and I get the error that sevenconfig.exe has encountered a problem and has to close. I tried reboot no luck. So I figure I will just update it and mabey this will fix it. Well my object desktop registration had expired so I went ahead and upgraded it and proceeded to download the update. Well before the update finishes it stops and tells me that the file downloaded is larger than expexcted and will not

Yes I do have skin studio, and its the latest build, just updated all my stardock progs, Ive got some experience with studio as well so should be easy to follow your example if ur willing to help.
Ok heres my problem, Some windowblinds when applied removes the Task Pane that you find for example in My Computer on the left of the window, now I know that one can go to folder options and check the option to show common task to get that pane back, but heres the problem I'm having - for reference I'm using the windowblind called "Windows Nano". It has removed my task pane and instead added the links you would normally find in the task pane to a small bar at the top of
Ok I'm confused and please forgive me I am easily so lol. I know it was said that the next version would be compatable with xp wich I have been waiting for this so you can imagine my excitement. On the site it said comeing soon for xp! or something to that effect - now I come on that is gone yet no mention of it, but I do notice the requirements on the descape page says vista/xp. On further investigation in this forum I saw it was posted that version 2.5 will work on xp - but when i go to pur
