Constant and consistent freezing on my end here. Thought it was a hardware problem so I upgraded with an additional stick of 8 GB RAM for 16 GB total. Issue still persists. Have verified integrity of game cache on Steam as well. Also opted-in for this hot-fix, problem still persists. Any thoughts on what I should do?
Okay so the standard clicking sound for both the end turn, ship selection, planet selection, basically all sound effects cut out once I get past the main menu and won't work on the main map. Battle SFX still work. After further testing, SFX work outside the main map. I.e. if I'm in the upgrade starbase UI or the shipyard UI, the SFX within it and the "done" button to take me out of it still work. All such SFX die within the main screen.
