ChrisTH - Just unchecked the lock desktop box and it's sorted the wallpaper problem straight away. Many thanks for that and thanks to everyone else who made suggestions.

Mmmm...the thing is, i don't have windowblinds or any other object desktop applied...just Object Dock. It's actually working great and it may actually benefit from a plain background. Since i posted the question, I have experimented and wallpapers do seem to stick if I have at least one shortcut or desktop item that's not sitting on any of the docks (i.e. actually On the desktop itself. Perhaps I've stiumbled on a bug...not sure, but either way I'm interested to know if there's a solution. <

Can't load wallpaper with objectdock running in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I've installed and configured some very nice objectdocks on my desktop, but now i can't get any wallpapers to load properly. I can only use plain colours as the background. Am I missing something obvious?
