I thank you all for your answer. This community is really friendly, gotta love Stardock games for that! I have to admit, I completely forgot that changing the victory condition and defense bonus would not be enough, and that I would need to change the AI behaviour. That probably makes it a little bit out of reach for me. I will fiddle with other victory conditions though, and will experiment with different map type. Greetings guys. This thread is to give an idea for a mod I would really like and maybe inspire some modders to do. I personally think the conquest victory is way too long to achieve. Even being at war with one civ, I find taking all the planets extremely long. What I would like is something like in Civ 5, where capitals are much more defended, but one could attempt to breach to the capital for a quick capitulation. I think it is easier to manage, and kind of fun to have the action concentrate
