The firewall that comes with ESET's System Security is by far the best I've ever used. Check it out. It's very highly rated.
I'm sure it will work out fine, but when you're brain damaged, as I am, it can be a bit of a hassle.
The new ESET comes with a personal firewall. I have never used a better anti-virus, anti-spyware system and the price for 3 years of updates was $19.00 per year.
I'm running the same system, but I removed the sidebar because it's such a resource hog. It also slows the boot time considerably. Stardock is providing virtually no support for Vista users. I think I've purchased my last copy of Object Desktop.
I purchased this garbage only to be told that I had bought the Full Install version which is no longer viable. I didn't receive a registration number, because the Xtreme Version has replaced the Full Version. I have a severe, chronic mental disorder accompanied by brain damage. You try negotiating this crap in my situation.
