https://forums.galciv3.com/460837/page/2/#3519793 Right click GalCiv3 in Steam, go to Properties, then select Betas on the far right. After that click the drop down and try out the next hotfix patch. It is in testing, as are all patches, but we're the front-load testers this early version of the patch.

This may or may not be a bug, however it is a little confusing and odd at times. To start, I have a single ship, my scout, with 3/3 moves. Turn 12, I have issued the command to move nine spaces away. Now the trail looks correct on this turn and the scout has already used it's moves for the turn as well, 0/3 remain on Turn 12. What is a little off, or at least mildly distracting is on
I think they're good now. They have a Beta 4 Patch 1 which is unreleased mentioned a hang fix. *fingers crossed* That said, definitely keep the DMP files in the folder just in case right? = )
Yay! Maybe I'm a glutton for torture but I can never play on smaller maps. I love immense games!
400's on what size of map and how many AI ayork1? I suppose their difficulty may be in important as well. I don't think system specs are relevant here because for me my game would never come close to filling 32 GB of RAM. I'm also not CTD'ing until I attempt to load the game after saving it while it's at the "Wait" hang moment. Any saves prior to that turn will always lead to an eventual "Wait" again, but never CTD, unless I load that specific turns
Thank you Island Dog and Raynman. 0.70.5 Confirmed! Finally makes sense, = ) You can understand why that last .5 can be a bit confusing and critical when it comes to beta testing! Anyhow, appreciate the help. Has anyone on the client side, been able to come up with reliable methods to get around the hangs? I understand Stardock is probably working furiously on this, but anything we can do to help them out and help out our less-patient testers out
Have another hang at T208, same situation, different race, all other races involved again, Immense map, Godlike AI this time. Passive playstyle for the most part by myself, using influence and money--not idea what the AI's have been doing to be honest. Again I have a save either one to three turns prior to the immediate load-in and crash, but the game always freezes at T208 no matter what I do now. = /
Publius of NV, they, being our wonderful devs of GalCiv3, = ), mentioned in their latest dev stream looking into an auto tech tree option.
1) There are "Economic Stimulus" options, which will simply put extra work that turn into creds. Although this means you'll have to keep an eye each turn if you have future plans for the planet after research has been completed. 2) I noticed the same thing--though I'm new to the designer, so I figured I had stuff to learn about it still. 3) Fact. 4) Use the middle mouse button to rotate your ship. 5) Still developing my own opinion, but interestin
I think this is similar to what is listed in this post here: https://forums.galciv3.com/460743/page/1/ and has also been attached to the "Gigantic list of bugs" on the Feedback forums.
I haven't been experiencing this issue, do you have any specifics regarding your situation? Ship? Game type? System specifications?
Disregard, was thinking "Insane".
My version literally only says 0.70 = / hmm Maybe I need to log out and let it update. Only mentioning that because I noticed someone else mention a 0.70.5.0 in their version.
I have an Auto-Save 3 turns prior however I can't seem to stop the game from hanging on turn 182 and every reload on the save after this hang crashes the game. Galaxy is an Immense, all AI's are Genius and one of each race is represented. I have both save games and a Stardock Support Tool export ready to be provided. I know the version is 0.70, however I don't know where to find the exact version of my gam
