I recall having a program that would allow me to choose how windows are maximized. For instance I could make it it so when I maximized a window there would be a 1 inch gap at the bottom, displaying a part of my desktop. I have most of the Stardock products but I don't see this option available in any of them. Anyone know how this is possible?

In the SkinStudio Explorer Tree under "Taskbar" and at the bottom there is an entry named "Taskbar Group Menu" with two fields: Background and Item. Can someone explain to me what this is and where I can see it so I can skin it correctly?

Nevermind I figured it out TIP: If you want to change the height of the taskbar in XP, try adding/editing the top and bottom content margins on the taskbar buttons (And also quicklaunch ones too if you use them). You can use thise to change the height

Sorry I guess there was already a post about this a few messages down.. my bad.. Anyhow, my taskbar background is only 27 px in height. however when themed it gets stretched up to 30. When I turn off stretch to tile it displays incorrectly with a gap at the bottom.

This is my first skin attempt and I'm trying to make the taskbar height smaller but I don't see any options to do this. I opened up "DogmaX" skin (as this skin uses a reduced taskbar height) but I can't see how he's doing this. some guidance would be helpful.. thx

I want to change the icon for the 'My Documents' folder. I've already changed it via Display Properties -> Customize Desktop however this seems to only change the icon if it is placed on my desktop. The icon is still the default folder icon when I goto My Computer or browse to "C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel". So how can I REALLY change the Icon? I'm also having the same problem with 'My Videos' folder (located in My Documents).
