duh! now i feel dumb. i just went back and played with the new objects and found how to apply them to my theme. thanks again for the info. (and yes, i WAS born blonde, but i dye it to create a little artificial intelligence. guess it doesn't work too well, huh?

Thanks for the info Here's a little more detail of what i'm trying to do. I found some gif animations on the web and i want to add them into my theme. when i go to import object and hit browse, it will only allow browsing for .dx objects. I did open some into paintshoppro and saved them as bmp, but the "import object" still won't read them. (and yes, i really did remember to browse the director

1. How do you convert a gif, png, bmp, etc. to a desktopx readable object? 2. What are the rules about using other people's objects and icons in different themes? I don't want to step on any toes.

I really need some help. I'm trying to turn an object into a drop down (pop-up?) menu tray that i can put objects on. when i try to do it, it says that there are objects without a starter. Also, the tray i want to use doesn't hide in the object that i want to use as a starter. Can someone please tell me how to do this? pretty, pretty, please.
