Nevermind...... I uninstalled and re-installed thru Stardock Central and now the game is working fine.

I'm attempting to play a medium map. I just built my computer... P4,3.0GHz,w/HT 1GB Corsair RAM 2 36GB Western Digital Raptors in a RAID 0 ATI 9600 Pro All-in-Wonder I'm using on-board audio and I just updated the drivers. I looked at the debug.err, however it is too much to post on this forum. If needed, I can email it.

I recently purchased GalCiv and played one full game on the original version (1.01??) that I installed from the GalCiv CD. After finishing the game, I submitted the score, archived the old version, and then upgraded to 1.20.086. Now when I attempt to start a new game, it crashes every time on the "opening yearly report" screen. I'm able to select my abilities, set the intellegence of my opponents, view the opening video, and then the "opening yearly report" screen comes up. I'm abl
