All my logons work great, but I haven't installed SP2. Also, some computer manufacturers will modify, replace or remove operating system files, so things may get broken that way too.

Okay JackyMan and Optimissed i wish i was here to help earlier.. you guys have to do this! If you download a logon named "X" then go to the logons directory. Where the sample 1, 2, and 3 are 'less you deleted 'em then where they WERE now just make a folder there also called "X" now just right click on the logon you downloaded and treat it as a zip file cuz that's really what .logonxp is, it's a zipped up file now extract with whatever proggie you use all of it's contents into the folder you called "X"
EXample: for the lamers... download "X" make a new folder also called "X" in the logonstudio directory folder! Next, right click on the downloaded "X" NOT the folder and then open it with winrar/winzip WHATEVER then extract everything to "X" THE FOLDER! You're done, open logstudio and it's there! YOU'RE WELCOME!

im in the same boat as jackyman and optimissed. ive gotten other logons to work and they were fine a few weeks ago but i came back and tried to put some more on. i was able to get one on because it was a .zip file and i just extracted it into a file in the logonstudio folder. but the files that are .logonxp will not load right. when i click on it it opens up logon studio and has the logon's name as the current logon but it isnt in the list of logons. and so when i hit apply, it just applies the one that i have highlighted in the list. i tried what caboj said and it didnt seem to work. i dont think it is anything to do with the system because it was working before and i havent done anything major to my computer recently. i appreciate everyone's willingness to help.

change the file type of you *.logonxp file to *.zip and extract. maybe that was what caboj was saying. but it works so...

Ive the same problem.. skins wont display on logon studio when i click or choose load from the program, ive to extract them manually!

Something must be wrong though... it should apply for itself as WindowsBlinds, desktopX skins does right????????

Something on your system must be interfering with the proper operation of LogonStudio.
