I wish the game had added a few new Lore to make it more interesting. The game only includes the same Lore as in Part 1, which really disappointed me. With such diverse civilizations in the universe, the game could absolutely have created 10 or even 100 lore with new playstyles. Why didn’t they do that? If Part 2 is just a graphics upgrade, then playing Part 1 is already enough. The game itself is very good, but this installment should really be considered a graphics upgrade rather than a true sequel.
For example, there could clearly be a race that specializes in biological warfare, with two distinct paths: altering the biology of enemies or enhancing their own biology. There could also be a civilization focused on harvesting energy using Dyson spheres. Or a civilization whose ships are always cloaked, making them extremely difficult for players to deal with. There could even be a plant-based civilization that develops using vegetation, with weapons made of massive biological space creatures.
**“We could add a lizard-like race, which would be a great element for building an empire that seeks to control the TEC. Another very interesting mechanic the game should include is technology theft. Titans could potentially steal technology from destroyed Titans and create entirely new gameplay exploits or playstyles.
In the first game, the cultural system made the gameplay very engaging—you could conquer enemies with fleets, or simply dominate through cultural influence and cause opponents to collapse without direct combat. However, in Part 2, the focus is almost entirely on building ships and fighting. The mechanics of cultural control and resource management have been downplayed, causing the game to lose much of its original appeal.
There needs to be more races with new technologies to create an everlasting war. Having only three lore factions becomes boring over time.
There are countless ideas to create new races for the game. Please expand the game. Don’t just upgrade the graphics and call it Part 2.
