Start11 folders and Sysinternals

Start11 failed to create folder

from Stardock Forums

Hello there,

I am curious why when you install sysinternals on windows 11, the windows start will create a folder with all the apps from the suite; to the contrary, Start11 won't do.

 

Are there any specifics for this to happen? Can be modified?

 

Any suggestion will be welcome.

Hi, I'd like to reopen this thread because that's something that is happening to me too.

I've installed the Sysinternals Suite from the Microsoft Store (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9P7KNL5RWT25?hl=neutral&gl=FR&ocid=pdpshare) and while in the Windows Start menu it appears as a folder like it should, Start11 2.8 still expands it and shows all the tools in the list, which is not desirable. My guess on the matter is that the folder is named "Sysinternals Suite" but there's also an app called the same inside this folder, and maybe this is messing things up with Start11? Or is it because it's a Windows App instead of a regular "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\" shortcut? I cannot test my theories because the Sysinternals, being a Windows App, cannot be customized (you can't rename/move the items). But I'd be happy to see this fixed in a future release please.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Thank you for point on how to get to Sysinternals Suite. I installed it but I can't find the folder named "Sysinternals Suite" in Windows 11 default Start menu. Where can I find it?
