Loading screen freezes and crashes

I downloaded the game through Epic and have verified the download and all other trouble shooting options I could think of and/or find. My problem is once I start to download the game it freezes at the end of the loading cycle and a crash report appears in my task manager anyone know why?

Sorry to hear you're running into this issue.

Hmm, it's possible Epic might lack the permissions to install the files or anti-virus might interfere. Try going through our support FAQ first. If none of the solutions work let me know and we'll try to work out what is going on from there.
