In Yor tech tree, Research Matrix tech gives Discovery sphere along with research matrix.
This seems wrong, as I cannot build a discovery sphere unless I take over a planet with a lower level Terran like research building.
So it seems to have been incorrectly included in the Yor tech tree.
This is not the only example where something is odd. I think also the non-yor research techtrees suggest they would be able to buld the research matrix.
There is also the one tech that unlocks the omega research center, which however is an upgrade from an building which is unlocked later.
I am not sure this is something easily fixable, because of how the architecture of the game works:
A tech does not unlock a building, but a building requires a tech to be displayed and be buildable. So the tech is linked to building in a so called GenericName. This name something equivalent techs in different tech trees have in common. It enables techs to be tradable (among other things).
