Even after choosing a sponser for a newly constructed shipyard, I randomly get the "Shipyard will have no sponser" message. I say randomly because it doesnt happen every time, just twice in my current game. See Screenshots.
I haven't seen this yet -- do you have some more information on how to reproduce it?
I have seen this also. At first i thought i had forgotten to assign a planet so i started being very careful and still randomly saw this happen. I have not found a way to reproduce it.
If i hit cancel > Done again it works (no "Shipyard will have no sponser" message ).
I cant reproduce it either, it is just random, and if I select Ok, my chosen planet still gets assigned, even with the message. As A0152570 says if you click cancel the message goes away.
