As I'm approaching the end of my insane game, I have realized I am unable to send a ship from one corner of the map to the opposite corner of the map. The game simply will not allow me to click and send the ship to that location. After all said and done it appears one is only able to send a ship about 75% of the map at one time. Once it gets part of the way than you can send it to the original destination.
This has nothing to do with life support as I control all corners of the map or very close to it. The corners in question I do have planets/starbases nearby. Save game can be provided but, should be able to be reproduced.
