HELP: anyone know how to add a starbase+specific modules to factiondefs/shipblueprints(?).xml?

I'm working on balancing jumpgates & a few other thingsinto the next version of ILO.  Now I'm at the point where I want to add them to stock races on turn0 and need to figure out hoe to add a functioning starbase with specific modules to factiondefs but don't have anything to work from as a starting point.

  • I need to do specific modules because it would be gamebreaking in multiple ways to start with a fully upgraded jumpgate
    • can't add the jumpgate stuff to shipyards since those are too easy to build, build all at once, and move making 1/1 into xx+/xx+ from its own aura

I'm not worried about where the jumpgate is placed in relation to the homeworld.

I seriously doubt anyone at SD will come by to help, but I'm bumping in case someone can help.

I know how to make new starbases for added modules, but I don't really know what ILO is or jumpgates are, and that could be why nobody's been sure what to say until now.

No idea how adding starbase modules to factiondefs would work, doesn't sound useful at all, but you can set your own models for starbases and their increments of upgrade in shipstyles.xml

I do not believe this is at all possible. Factions have starting ship blueprints - since starbases cannot have blueprints, you cannot reference a starbase with specific modules. Not sure if you can get a starting starbase at all, either.
