Alright so we have had some success discussing a role play focused multiplayer game! I will keep the important information updated here as well as interested parties in another list on this post. All I will update as we make decisions but ad it stands a great deal is up in the air still. Here is the information that we have:

-First game is in the books and we will be starting a new one in the new future

-Role play focused games are games which the focus of the game is more in playing as your character/interaction between other races rather than simply winning.

-Civilization interactions can be conducted through the GC built in chat but Private transmissions will sent as steam private messages.

-We can use a small number of difficult ai's including the Dregin to keep things interesting.

-Victory conditions have yet to be set but overall should not be the focus to "win." My group The Bastionate do not strive to win by any means but instead strive to maintain galactic peace and aggressively deal with races who would subjugate or conquer weak races.

-Research speed may be something we want to change to prolong game and make technology something more of a commodity.
