So, I did Just Deserters and the end reward was... a pelt? Really? I remember it actually use to be worthwhile.
Looking at the data, you should be getting hooked up by that quest (Plate armor, fame, etc). Or are you talking about after the battle? The battle could have dropped just a pelt...but the Quest Reward screen should have given you multiple good items (along with one pelt).
