So my planet list grows, and I want to find out of the 100+ ones I have which ones are good for producing population. Any Idea? It seems you can only see a planets bonus when you hover the mouse over it. When I open the Govern window to call up the planet list, select the planet, I can see the planet but cannot zoom to it. That list is to the right and isnt even alphabetical!
How the heck do you zoom to a planets location easily>?>
I recommend at the very least renaming planets as you get them and giving them keywords to inform yourself what each one is specialized in.
double(left)-click in the planet list in govenors window
Find it in the list, then click it.

Any of them, really, but Bread Basket worlds are the best.
Clicking or double clicking from the govern/colonies window does not zoom to that planets location on the map. Only the list on the right zooms to the planets location on the map and that list is not even alphabetized (or sort-able). So finding a planet is a pain scrolling esp when you have 100+ planets!
Chill out don't worry. I've already heard the devs talking about adding a filter/sort function to the right side UI. Actually though, there is one. ...for starbases. Why there isn't a filter for the other categories...I don't know. I'm actually surprised nobody noticed that before launch. Really sucks...when paid immense/insane you can literally add up the minutes every turn your cycling through those damn menus . I'm sure by 1.1 we will see implementation. Anyways for now...kudos to the gentleman above. Naming planets is a great way to minimize micromanagement when colonizing 20 plus. But really once you get used to it...it becomes habit.
He thought you were taking about the right side UI....And now I see so did I. Lol Double clicking a colony from the governors tab tab does indeed take you directly to the colony interface. You can also double click the right side UI but it has to be towards the left on the actual planet not the text. And that will take you to the planet on map via zoom. Idk hope I've helped. Lol
