Desert planet bonus not working

IIRC, it is working, but not showing.  It is because "Social Manufacturing" isn't actually broken down anywhere (what you are pointing to is "Manufacturing").  But I have tested this early game (when it is the easiest to see what is happening) and buildings are quicker to build on all of the planets that have bonuses to "Social Manufacturing".

I'm sure someone else can explain it better than I as I am still a little fuzzy on "Total Manufacturing"/"Raw Manufacturing" and so on.

You need to click on the govern screen to see the social manufacturing points. I know this is working in the latest build. This screenshot shows military production verses social production when both are set at 50%. Drengin get a military production bonus. 

NOTE TO DEV'S: The manufacturing tooltip (preferably, an onscreen element needs to display this information on the planet screen).

I really was wrong.  I was confusing with the symbolism of GalCiv2 (hammer for social manufacturing).
