So, my buddies and I go to play a game, and the one of us who is by far the worst at all civ like games is on top of the leaderboards. We are all very confused. Turns out he was rolling around in over 4000 money. How did he do this, being as god awful at games like this you may ask.
Turns out if you offer the A.I. open borders, and in return you ask them for 9 money per turn, they always agree. They will almost always give money per turn for almost anything. We played with no tech trading to curb this, but ofcourse there is a way around. They also give money per turn for things like usless cheap ships.
Side note,
If you play online, and the game crashes (as it will atm) when you restart it sometime it will place the players into the wrong faction. For example
Player 1 is Race A
Player 2 is Race B
Player 3 is Race C
Player 4 is Race D
Game crash at turn 24
load up game
Crash at turn 34
load up game, except now it forces the players to play
Player 1 is Race A
Player 2 is Race D
Player 3 is Race C
Player 4 is Race B
And in the load/lobby screen no one except the host can see the actual faction names, ever one else has a random race shown even though it is in fact the one they want.
