Umm, use the delete button on the ship designer.
I'm not trying to be a douche. In my game and using the Opt-In patch there is a Delete button. For designs not components.
I will note though that we also need a delete for templates that is in-game...
Yep, that is a problem for sure. Especially for people like me that want to take advantage of Steam Cloud. Deleting the file in My Documents is not an option. I'm going to note this in my bug report tonight.
