I love the ship builder utility, but I feel that many of the parts aren't really allowing much freedom. Many have jagged edges and points and are too detailed, allowing for very little personalization. For example there is a fighter cockpit that has too many bits on it. I wanted to merge it with a simple hull, but the jagged edges were sticking through the hull. I feel most parts should be very simple, cockpits, without the extra attachments (fins and such should be up to the player where they are put) Very simple shaped hulls to compliment the detailed hulls and allow for easy mounting/shaping.
