That is a good point and I agree with you. The supporting 'line' which shows who sponsors what Starport should only be visible to the owner, not the AI nor any other players. This is probably a moot point in late game with far-seeing sensors but in early game it can mean the difference between losing your port or rush-buying and defending it with a ship.
