Similiar Planet Bonuses

Hello all,

 

First of all, I apologize for the large font usage - bad eyesight today !!

 

My issue, though not a serious one, is this; When colonizing a planet and the bonus screen pops up, I keep getting the same type: 'Pods'

I would prefer more variety, specially since I am playing a small map.

1. Is this a randomization seed generator glitch/bug vs map size?  anyone else noticed this ??

2. Or a simple default game play mechanic to speed up Alpha testing ???

It might just be a coincidence, or a glitch. There are more events than that one btw.

I think it's just that way for the Alpha, however, yes 90% are research and then I've seen a few others, but it appears randomization is not working correctly.  I would expect we'll see more randomized options in either the next version of Alpha or by Beta for sure.

It's just an alpha I think they have that event pop up on every planet so you can earn ideology points to test the ideology trees.

 

I'll go out on a limb and say not only will there be different random events in the final game, but that you won't always get one when colonising a planet anyway.

try ctrl+mousescroll while having your browser selected and the mouse over the site. makes all the letters bigger! it's like magic.

I don't understand what this reply is referring to?  I know the option in the statement but, the statement appears out of place?  Was this to be posted to a different post?

I am really hoping for some serious dilemma causing choices for planet bonuses.

 

Stuff that is going to make it real difficult to stay with one ideology
