Tridus, are you misinterpreting or confusing something you read somewhere? I have yet to see anything that could explain the disappearance of the basic Founders offer (the $49.99 version) other than someone goofed. If you have a link to something said by a legitimate StarDock representative, please post a link.

Interesting. When I read that I thought the Founders offer would remain without the $10 discount. After all, that is the context within which it was stated (as in the title line for the thread). And, in a way, it makes no sense to NOT continue to offer the Beta only, but at the $49.99 price.

That's how I read it initially too, but the founders edition itself is gone. Elite remains. Maybe that was the more popular package, so having two didn't make sense?

Perhaps. And perhaps they will re-introduce the Basic Founders when the Alpha concludes.
