Erm, what just happened?

I'm not about to start crying 'Cheaters!' at the top of my e-voice. But i'd love to know what's going on with the huge unbalanced games I keep getting into with custom matches. I'm pretty sure when I started playing with Qots for my very first game I didn't start with over 3000 hitpoints and the ability to absorb an assault for regulus and the unclean beast at once, then with only some priests proceed to tear them appart.

Btw, I was regulus. So what's going on? How does a level 1 player, assuming they've used thier starting money to buy those priests, start with over 3000 hp and have the ability to absord the assault of two other demigods, then rip them appart. Surely any player starting at level 1, even with favour items, shouldn't have that big a gap in power. I've looked through those items not one of them should do that much for a player.

This isn't isolated to that one game either, alot of games i've played have inexplicably over powered level 1 DGs running about, making me wonder how it's even possible for a new player like me to actual do anything but become cannon fodder. I'm not a sore loser, i've never quit even in the face of a loss, but i'm starting to wonder, what's going on?

There are hp boosting favor items (blood of the fallen for +800), and a starter chest piece for another what, 400? That's +1200 hp, so if the QoT starts with 1800, which sounds about right, there's your 3000 :)

Sigil of vitality for 4500 for 20 secs

As I said she'd bought priests, so she wouldn't have had gold for any other items. And how does that explain the ability to absorb everything two other Assassin DGs could throw at her?

She could of resold the priests after summoning, and did one of her allies have a +% health flag capped?

Yeah, until the next patch hits you can buy the idol, summon the priests, resell it for 75% money return, and buy something else. That trick would leave enough money to buy the +400hp chestpiece, which only costs 450 if I recall.

In her closed flower form she also gets an armor bonus, which is fairly significant early on since most Demigods start with pretty wimpy armor.

Banded Armor + Blood of the Fallen + 15% Health Flag= More than 3k health.

EDIT: She'd have exactly 3047.5 health with the above. I did the math:

Base QoT Health: 1450

Blood of the Fallen: +800 health

Banded Armor: +400 health

1450 + 800 + 400= 2650

15% of 2650= 397.5

2650 + 397.5= 3047.5

I assume the game would round it up to 3048.

Okay yes, but you're all forgetting the absord effect, it said 'ABSORBED' every time we hit her, I don't mean she took the damage I mean it was absordbed.

End of PurpleFantum's quote

That's her bramble shield skill. It absorbs a set amount of damage(700 at level 1).

nerf blood of the fallen ^^

other favor items are fun every now and again, but when you really want to spank the enemy team up, blood of the fallen never fails to deliver

this is a great website too browse around on and learn about the various items and abilities available in the game. a thorough read-through will take alot of the mystery and frustration out of the game for you.

Blood of the Fallen can only be nerfed if the Assassin items are useable for everyone, because the most general Items are bad.
