vocal audio skipping/repeating

Make sure your audio drivers are up to date and try turning the sound quality option in-game down to low and turning off the Reverb sound option.

Are you using built in sound or a sound card like Creative Soundblaster? What are your system specs (specifically CPU speed and model).
