custom maps on multiplayer

if i create a map do others have to download or is it likr other games where they get it during launch of game??

In-game generated maps are shared automatically. Galaxy Forge ones are not (so everyone has to download it externally), but sharing these is something Ironclad hopes to put in the game in the future.

That would be great if do they, cuz I just wasted time creating a custom map with Galaxy Forge with the hopes of playing it on Ironclad online.
