Information about GC Instability

Since I had unprecedented problems with GC crashing to desktop, I decided to once and for all solve it yesterday. After 2 hours of trying everything in the book I grasped at straws and checked the bios, to see if anything was clocked. And voila, turns out some culprit cloked my memory without me knowing it. After resetting it to standard GC works fine.
Conclusion:
GC is VERY sensitive of overclocked memory, no other applications and/or games I run had any problems with it. I suspect any form of overclocking any component will render GC very unstable, even if all other applications run smooth as silk. Maybe someone out there who is angry with crashes can take this info to heart
