I just woke up about 10 minutes ago... I have a beautiful baby girl, and I just named her Alysia Leah Rae. . . She weighed 4 lbs 3 1/2 ounces. She is so beautiful. It really hasn't hit me yet that I'm a mommy. I realize that I am, but it's so shocking. I held her once, and then they took her to take her picture. I have the picture so as soon as they give it to me on a cd then I'll put it on here. She is so sweet. I have been trying to call Shawn, but so far I haven't had any luck getting a hold of him. Thanks for your prayers, keep 'em coming.. I need a lot. Like Trina said, when you see he/she you will just know, or she said something to that extent. I think Alysia Leah works for her. I can't wait to hear what Shawn has to say about our precious baby girl. I'm worn out! I was in labor for 4 and a half hours!! for something that tiny!! IT HURT!! lol.. well duh.. I am going to save my batteries so that I can get back on my laptop if we don't go home tomorrow.. Once again, THANKS FOR YOUR PRAYERS!

Emma BTW-- If there was any question on pronunciation, it's pronounced, Ah lee c ah (Alysia)

Aww, how wonderful!  Congratulations!

If there's anything I can do, let me know.  I have a lot of contacts within the military and I can reach out and touch people if you need me to....

YAY!!! I got to see my best friend's baby 5 days after she was born... most beautiful thing I've ever seen... I wish you and your daughter all the best! Just from observing from the outside I've seen some amazing stuff... I very much envy you for what you have, you are a lucky lucky woman.

I'm worn out! I was in labor for 4 and a half hours!!

I hate you!   4 1/2 hours- that's it?  That's just not fair..... I was in labor for over 30 hours, and my daughter was only 6 1/2 lbs (3 weeks early....she would have been a big baby if she went full term.)

Glad to hear everything is going well.  How long will she have to stay in the hospital?
