Something is broken with you, that does not happen for me.
You mean with the save file?Edit:I haven't changed anything since the last time I launched the game.I haven't updated the game recently in case there has been one update, apart from the automatic updates for the Steam program but which do not touch the game files.What could be causing this?

I play Retribution v3.96, standard races, all expansions and DLCs.I haven't used mods.Check files, okay, but what can cause game file corruption?
Anti virus, third party programs, bad windows cache, Saving and exiting before the saver has actually saved, many things tbh.
This happening on new games or just the save?
Now it's the case every time I launch the game.The game crashes quite often just when the game starts, but that hasn't caused any problems so far.I'll try to check the game files later, thanks.
