Are there any cheats for this game to get infinite credits. Trying to play the campaign missions, but simply run out of money. You can't trade with anyone, so it just seems impossible without it. Can't build anything and making the game very boring!!!

Do what I did and build multiple economy star bases per planet. Minimum of 2 preference of 4. Research the star base are extension tech and you can easily have 4 overlap and cover a planet. Also get the Tourism tech asap and build the Port of Call on every planet regardless of purpose. It is colony unique and boosts your tourism income 10%. Finally, you get at least 4 planets in each mission. The first second planet you get should be economy focused with 2-3 factories, a Port of Call, then wall to wall commerce centers for income. Set the manufacturing slider to 100% consumer and then adjust the primary production slider to somewhere between economy and manufacturing while building out to keep either a 1 turn per upgrade or 2 turns worst case scenario. Go full production during the initial build out.
Did they reduce the area covered by a starbase when i wasent looking? Its still 5/7/9 right?
if so you should be able to get 5 overlapping without any techs and 12 if nothings blocking you with both range techs
If you turn on cheats in steam, then you can open the console in-game by hitting "`" then type /help to get a list of commands.
You could always edit the game's xml files to give you a huge number of credits at the start. This game is extremely mod-able.
