Shipsets for Star Trek Races?

Hi everyone,

While I know there is a Federation Mod floating around, I was wondering if anyone had actually compiled a shipset for any other Star Trek races using either ship designs from the Workshop or their own designs. I'm going to start trying to compile some shipsets today but I don't want to spin my wheels if someone else has already done the work. From what I can see on the workshop there are enough designs to sustain the following races, mostly from airmaster with some work by omnibus and others:

Federation (As mentioned above)
Klingons
Dominion
Cardassian
Romulan
Borg
Vulcans
Andorian
Tellarite

And none or very few for the following:

Ferengi
Tholian
Breen
Gorn
Species 8472
Xindi
Talarian (This might be a stretch, though they'd make a great minor race)

Anyone have any insights? The lack of workshop support feels like it's acting as a real bottleneck for larger mods. I really thought there would be a Star Trek mod by now. To me, the first step in creating a mod is compiling the shipsets.

I encountered a few while skimming through the workshop linked through factions, but not of the same standard in stability and cleaniness as GRM and such. Most had the faction name in the ship names, which was quite obnoxious and redundant. They also lacked proper previews in the faction editor of survey ships.

I don't think there is or will be much care until a shipset editor shows up. The big talents on the workshop also seems completely unaware of mods and other things that only exist outside of it. I have told a few individuals over there about mods and linked them to threads explaining how to make them, but not much seems to actually be happening on that front.
