Slow Moving Starbases

Would slow moving like one tile per turn be a positive feature for a starbase. I could see this adding a strategic feature to the game, any thoughts.

In later updates of the game I'm sure you'll be able to build Terror Stars, like the Star Wars Death Star.

 

When it comes to ordinary Space Stations my opinion is they are more strategical as stationary. Then you have to pick carefully where to place them, and make harder priorities on what kind of Starbases to build where.

no I can see the advantage with shipyards but easier just to build a new starbase normally.

The devs have mentioned ideas about a special ship that could tow a starbase, but there are no guarantees that this will be implemented.

If you are talking later game play I think you would be better off to load up on constructors and build it where you want it. then upgrade it all at once!

Late game I would just take a cargo hull and fill it with constructor modules and do it all in one trip.

Well with the Stacking Sensors debate,.. I was being careful what I subject Have a late constructor with 15 of times it by 2 that 30 modules per truck!!
