But this time, I didn't get a no screen and the game freezing. Instead it showed; waiting for other player, and then a planet management screen appeared?!
I saw something similar - a brief waiting for other player message and then a starport management screen for an idle starport. I assume that it was the next item in the queue, if I'd had an idle planet I'd have seen what you did. I opened a support ticket.
