I have the game installed on 2 PC's one a win7 box with an old core2 quad/4gb ram/gtx 650 and win7 x64, and have another installation on a core i5 5770/16g ram/gtx 770 win10 x64 system.

The game handles alright on the windows 7 system, and the game runs fine (ableit a bit sluggish at times due to the aging PC), the only time I have issues is when the game runs out of memory.

But on the windows 10 system the game will randomly crash the whole PC, sometimes after a couple of hours on a large+ map, sometimes only after a few minutes on a small map.

When it crashes the PC it is a 'soft' crash I get the little app hang popup when it crashes, then the system will shut itself down and reboot. (I can stop the rebooting if im really quick to open task manager or something, but usually it happens so quickly that i cant catch it).

When the crashes happen they always happen when I end the turn, I can leave the game open all day/night and it will stay open without a problem, returning to the game after leaving it open this long doesn't seem to make a crash any more/less likely.

Tabbing out of the game seems to make crashes more likely, but again the crash will only happen once I click end turn.
