I realize that it was mentioned that there are people who use triple monitors. But it was a real eye opener to me. I was feeling pretty good about getting a second monitor working that displayed monitor programs that tracked temps, fan speeds, cpu and gpu usage, memory commit, etc. while I played the game so I could see what was happening. The idea of even using two monitors that display one big screen (1920x1080x2) sounds terrific, unfortunately I would have to invest in a monitor that was the same size (I think!). Well,, my primary is a 27 inch Samsung. One question I would have is using three monitors to display the game, how can you watch the whole display at once? Maybe that's not the point.
My other question would be about the choice between three monitors and one big screen TV (presumably super HD or whatever they call it). What are the tradeoffs here? Seems like the cost might be a bit higher for the big screen.
I know I tried playing Civ 5 on a 46 in Samsung TV and in any normal position in the den (about 10 feet eye to screen) the menus, etc. were impossible to read. So I gave up on big screen TV for games and just went with the 27 in monitor.
Interesting to think about I am glad you got it sorted out!
