I take the screenshots and chose to submit it to stardock directly via support desk. (which I had to create a separate account for by the way) They take a week to reply and then direct me to collect a bunch of information about my system and the different error logs and and save game files for them, when all the details they needed are in the screenshot. (I even edit the picture and type on it what the exact issue is so they are not looking for it)
My question is, since this is beta and they know they will need a ton of information for each bug reported, why not build in a bug submit right inside the game?
That could collect the current save game, error logs, and any other details from the system they need (system specs etc) with a click of a button?
I realize that this is not as simple as I am making it sound however wouldn't this streamline the process and thus give you a more efficient prioritization process?
Just sounds like there are too many avenues for reporting bugs and given the hoops I am expected to jump for each bug report I understand why people simply post screenshots to the forum and let someone else take it from there.
Am I the only one who feels the bug reporting process could use some serious TLC? You might be surprised by how many more people would contribute to the process if it werent so cumbersome.
