End of Turn sound

Am I the only one who finds it a bit annoying?   I do appreciate that there is a sound, and maybe any sound would be annoying eventually.

 

I wonder if having more sounds and playing a random one at the end of turns might help here.

I'm still on the fence about a lot of the newly added sounds. I'm not sure if it's just because it's new when there was no sound previously or if it's just not my cup of tea. Going to give it some more time before I pass final judgement but so far I'm not totally digging many of the new ones.

One thing I did notice that definitely needs some work is the music with the cut scenes doesn't transition smoothly to the next music in line. Maybe a good quick fade out and fade in would fix it quite easily.

The turn sound is not a problem for me but the sound for building ships is a bit much.

I am finding a lot of the "actions done" sounds annoying. May we have a way to turn them off while leaving other ambient sounds on?

I am glad others feel the same about the end turn sound, I thought it was just me.  I personally liked the old one better.  The new 'ding' is annoying.  Love the new cleaning up that has been done with the rest of the game.  It is coming along nicely.

I really liked the table knock. The tiny bit of tabe-top flavor was really nice.

No its all in our heads, the sounds are fine. I have the urge to say the end of turn sound is annoying but there isn't anything really wrong with it. As for the others, they are ok to, I think I can get used to them and appreciate the variety while its new.

For the end of turn sound... I think the sound when you click on "Turn" is just fine.  But then extra sound at the end after AI is processed and it is your turn again... that little extra sound is what annoys me.

I always turn off the music pretty much first thing in a new build but generally like the rest of the sound effects.  The added sounds are jarring and annoying I think it turned them off when I was building my second colony.  I would like to turn off the on build and turn sounds but leave the rest.
