Ladies and Gentlemen, I have tried to read through most of the posts on feedback and find that everyone seems to be finding all sorts of 'glitches', 'omissions', 'crash problems', and other technical issues. Of course they are, it's only a beta release and there are bound to be these issues. I think the community is doing a wonderful job in finding these problems and many others, as well as making some unique suggestions for improving the game. Carry on!
Having said that, I'd like to add one more thing. I'm having fun!
Yep, I said that. In the loading block the devs say they are looking for the elusive 'fun' thing. Well, I've found it. I'm 500+ moves into a large game and yes, not everything is active, not every option works correctly, but overall the game is 'fun'! I've spent many hours a day (I suffered a work related injury and have plenty of home time right now) over several days playing GalCiv III, not looking for bugs, defects and typos, but just following the game. It's fun. Have I said that before? I know the devs are working hard, probably with overtime involved (I hope), to fix the issues that they and the community are finding. I cannot wait to dive into the finished product once released.
So, with that in mind, I'd just like to thank the devs (whomever they may be), and Stardock, for their hard work. It is paying off. The game is improving with each release and patch, but more importantly, we are having fun!
Thank You.
