By installing 1.04...

... do I install 1.01/.02/.03 as well? Or do I have to look for those updates and install each one individually?

I just got the game. I played the demo and am excited about this game as I bought Homeworld 2 only to find it didn't work on ^%$&ing Vista.

I've read great reviews for this game though.

1.04 will include anything. The patcher figures out what you need for you. Have fun when you start playing

You need to only install the latest patch; it includes all the other patches.

And there's a reason why homeworld2 doesn't work on vista. You probably need to change a few settings; check some hw2 fan forums for possible answers.

Darkheath, have you tried running HW2 in NT mode? Go to your homeworld2.exe file, right click, choose compatibility, and then set it as NT SP5. Running it as XP SP2 didn't work for a friend but he said that NT worked just fine.

The patches are all inclusive, but this latest one might have a few glitches and most of the mods are for 1.03 only, since the 1.04 Tools are not out yet. You may want to start with 1.03 and then upgrade to 1.04 in a little while.
