I started the campaign as a Democrat (Jefford Jackson, in case it matters) and went up against Condi Rice. We both got some media opportunities and earned and used some political capital. Fine so far.
I've won the next three campaigns and something disturbing has happened:
Political capitaal raised by each Republican candidate: zero, zero, and zero
Media opportunities: zero, zero, and zero
Random events (question marks): zero, zero, and zero
I feel like a good part of my game is missing, and I'd like to get it back somehow. What happened to it, and how can I fix it? I ran the first three elections with the 1.01 patch and the last with 1.02, and I'm using Windows 98.
