No buttons in main menu

The main menu only shows the background flag graphic and the changing portrait things down the bottom, and even those flicker a bit. The music is playing and clicking on the right side of the screen seems to spew garbled graphics onto the screen or make the screen freeze up for a minute or so...

I have Win2000, with all service packs, etc, GeForce FX 5600 with newest 61.77 drivers and DirectX 9.0c, I've tried reinstalling several times...

Hmm. Depending on how you're uninstalling, it may not be removing the texture files that it creates and saves to disk. Try deleting all the .dds files in the gfx directory and then start the game. Loading will take longer because it has to go through and recreate all those files. Just let it run (and try to keep any other programs from stealing the focus just to be sure that doesn't cause any problems). When the quit button has been enabled,all of the textures will have been created. If you continue to have this issue, please run DXDiag and send the report to Email

Nope, still can't see anything besides the background, where should I send the email?

Fixed by downgrading drivers to 45.23...
