Problems with game

I Just bought the political machine and I am having problems with it. In the Introduction, right after the intro movie, the icons where you start a game are completely blank. Also, when i go into one of the options (not knowing what it is) all the words are super Large that they are literally across the screen. Can someone please tell me whats going on here. Thanks

We need to know a LOT more about your hardware and software configuration.

What OS, what video card, what version of the game, what version of DirectX, etc.

If you could, can you please send a screen shot of what you are seeing (Press printScreen and then paste the image into msPaint and send that to us)? Also to please go to start->Run->DXDiag and then press the save button at the bottom right hand corner of the window. And send us that along with the debug.err file from the political machine folder. You can send all of the information to support@stardock.com alog with a note on what the issue is.
