Fleet Research, Fleet Logistics

Requirements to upgrade your fleet size

In the research menu under 'Fleet Logistics' in the lower panel you can pump up your fleet capacity. I currently have 9% upkeep to pay for my 250-slot fleet. Now I want to increase the fleet size. But I don't understand the following:

"Requires 2 of any research structure".

I have completed the military and civilian research trees and already built enough labs to do that. What do those fleet requirements mean? I can't make any sense of it.

It means either lab will suffice for the requirement.

Oh my, I think my research queue prevented the fleet research to start. Heh.

I am trying to figure out what:

Requires 1 Captive Supplier point means?

Does any one know that?

It is for the Vasari race.

Sorry, forgot to write that it is also in the fleet logistics research screen.

In order to upgrade my fleet supply capacity I need

2 of any research structure. Got that.
1 Captive Supplier point. Don't know where that is.

I can't find it in the other research screens.

Heh, that's because it's right there on the Fleet Logistics research screen. To upgrade your fleet capacity, you first need the upgrade before it, and enough research structures -- that's all.

I have played Vasari now (first time). But I didn't need the Captive Supplier point. Just 2 research labs as usual. Hmmm...
