well i hope things work out... getting an insight into the mind of a woman was a nice treat. I like people who think a lot, and people that can put their thoughts down coherently in print are even better. thanks for the update... my girl and I have this whole role reversal thing going on, so that's prob'ly why i can relate to what you're saying... <img src

#1 - that all my friends here at JoeUser (you have no idea who you are) would magically have 5,000 dollars magically deposited into their bank accounts tmrw. But no one would know that it was because of me. (that doesn't benefit me) #2 - I want just enough money to pay off my truck, my car loan, my horse trailer, and my credit cards. I still want to work and continue my life as is, I just want to have more say in what I spend my money on ev

I am addicted to the ellipseseses... i use them on and off-duty, in blogs and in emails, in text messages and in IM conversations... i am obsessed w/ the idea that I can separate incomplete thoughts w/ 3 little dots... ... ... i thought that perhaps i was one of the few that used them, and even fewer that notices them...

throw me in a padded cell in the same hospital, cause I think he's doing the right thing. If he loves her, and already planned to spend the rest of his life w/ her, then how would this change the way he feels? Sure she made a mistake, or a series of mistakes, and sure it was a VERY poor decision... but at the end of the day, she's still the same person, warts (and mistakes) n all. cold feet are cold feet... aren't we all entitled to a mistake or two?

I say "kill 'em w/ kindness"... when i'm around a bunch of people that i really don't like, or if i'm just indifferent to 'em, i'll repeatedly tell them how great they are, and how much I love working with them (for example). Sometimes they can detect the sarcasm, other times they can't... either way, i don't really give an excrement.

well it's good to see you back around here... I hope you find some work soon... maybe someone here on JU can help find something... good luck!

many of us are multi-faceted people. What the bloggers here at JU see is only one (or perhaps more than one) facet of who you are. Either way, we don't see every facet of you the way your friends and family do. For some people, there is a certain part of us that gets lost in translation when we put our thoughts in print. not to mention the fact that once you've established a reputation or given a first impression, it's hard to change the way that people see yo

i'm not sure if you're just referring to your readership, your # of replies, your overall blog rating or all of the above, but I can tell you that I can relate to some extent. I was once the #2 blogger here on the top ten (for a short period of time), and was in the top ten for a long time. I know why i dropped off... I stopped blogging for a long time. but lately I've been trying to make a bit of a comeback (no worries about get

A - I completely and utterly sympathize w/ you. My job requires that I wear heavy black boots, and an entire Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) to work every single day... on certain occasions I can take my BDU top off, but other than that, it's regulated to the hilt! It just isn't right! Where's my freedom of expression? What if I don't feel like wearing this blue web belt? As if all of that wasn't bad enough, I have the Basic Instructor Course

I could debate this stuff with you all day and all night, because I think about it all the time. My last point (for the moment) is this: What makes a woman beautiful What makes a woman sexy What makes a relationship last What makes a marriage work These things may run side by side w/ each other, they may intersect at times, they may coincide on a regular basis, but they are not always the same thing. Beauty (mu

I think that physical attraction is being manipulated by these insane societal standards, and that's really sad. that's one way to look at it, but I really don't think it's true. While there are guys who 'only' give the time of day to women who look like they should be in Cosmo, there are just as many

I'm guilty as charged... i'm a sucker for a beautiful woman, like so many other men. but... I'm a fan of natural beauty. or maybe i'm just rationalizing here. I dig women who can get ready in 15 minutes. The ones that don't have to wear a lb. of make-up to be pretty. The ones that don't get their hair frosted, their lips injected, and their tits implanted. The ones who are secure in who they are, and don't feel like they have to conform to the standards that Cosmo and Ma

you can't live your life in fear man... i'm not saying you should be reckless and act stupid, but at the same time you can't stress yourself out worrying about every little thing. just do your best to make good decisions, but don't stop living your life for fear of screwing up... making mistakes is part of life and it happens to all of us. i'm in the Air Force, and I can assure you that we do not expect perfection... we just ask that you do your best. Do you think living i

as a side note to that, by your therapist encouraging you to build a Social Support Circle, he's putting himself out of a job! if you had a good enough one, you wouldn't need him anymore... gotta love that idea...

And of course, you always have a listening ear around here. that's kinda what i was thinking... one thing about JUsers is that the majority of 'em always seem to be willing to offer a shoulder to cry on, albeit a virtual one. i know exactly what you mean too... that whole "you can lean on me,
