Brandie, I'm lovin' the pink dress, but I think you ought to wear white. I am so thrilled for both of you, and although I won't be your maid of honor during this ceremony, I count it a blessing to know your precious family. I hope your day PERFECT! Be sure and post some pics.

Every so often the winds of insecurity sweep into my thoughts leaving a destructive path of negative self talk. I start second guessing all of my actions, and my character defects seem glaring and unbearable. I begin to tell myself things like, "Why do you say such stupid stuff?", and "Nobody really likes hanging out with you. You're too high maintenence." Fighting
You're a home owner! Yes I am! I officially took the plunge. Thank you so much for all your encouragement along the way.
"If you can't have fun without a job, that's your fault!" This will be my slogan for the summer. Thanks for sharing.
July 15th Oh Brandie, I am so happy for you and Adrian. Congratulations, and may the days ahead be full of peace and gentleness. I will pencil July 15th on my calendar.
"So, what are you going to do with yourself all summer?" I have come to dread this question. Everyone seems to be asking it, and to be real honest, I don't have an answer. I am a school teacher, and although most folks would relish having two months off in the summer, I increasingly fear this season of uncertainty. You see, busyness is a
Sounds like you have a wise friend, A very true statement. Thanks for taking the time to read my ramblings. Hope life is treating you well in my hometown.
you've got us! Yes, I do. And am am forever grateful for your love and support. Recognizing the good and expecting perfection are not exactly the same, but sometimes I need to be reminded that God is with me through the crap. I guess I expect Him to clear the path, but apparently that is not how He w
Thoughtful blog. God's currently teaching me a lot about criticism and "holier than thou" thinking. Perhaps we attempt to set ourselves apart in order to feel better about who we are.
For months now I have been struggling with the Sovereignty of God. I have questioned His goodness and doubted His power. I'm still attempting to sift through this stage of uncertainty, but today someone said something that brought me one step closer to acceptance. The comment was simple, and I've been introduced to the concept numerous times before. It wasn'
"This was one of those rare experiences when one realizes that we are all part of one whole. We all need each other for our lives to hold any meaning. Being willing to listen and offer a little truth in a world of deceit is refreshing to even the most jaded of souls." Trin, Your spirit amazes me. I'm glad you had this chance encounter, and it brings me great joy to know your'e smiling. I love you so!
YEAH FOR TRINITIE!
I say go for the adventure. There will be plenty of time for the mundane later. Mason, Thanks for the advice. The mundane can always wait. I'm gonna knock on the doors and see what opens.
You are the ultimate bargain hunter and you're great with decorating and fixing things up. I think you should find a cute place that needs a bit of work and turn it into something special. Then if the desire to head off for something else hits you, you can sell it for a profit, and if not, you have a great place to call your own.
I'm currently considering purchasing a home. Some mornings I wake up ready to take the plunge and become a card carrying member of the American Dream. Other days I want to uproot my life and move to a foriegn country. The irritating paradox of stability and adventure leave me feeling confused and uncertain. Waiting on the wonderful can be highly fru
Trinitie: You are so random! I didn't acknowledge your previous comment because I'm not real sure what I would do if Jesus smoked crack. However, I appreciate the sentiment. As far as the movie quote goes, NOT A CLUE! Love ya sis!
Changing my tune: The same group of men came to my elementary school today to do an assembly. I gained a totally different perspective. They truly do have a gift. Their preformance can keep an entire gym full of 3rd through 6th graders silent. That my friend, is a miracle . They do have an impact, it just happens to be on the younger generation. I can appreciate what they do, and I apologize for being such a critic! God can use whom ev
Crazy isnt it? What I witnessed seemed crazy to me. Of coure, no one assigned me the job of judge or jury, so I don't want to be too critical. Perhaps these guys were geniune, but this form of worship is quesionable.
I witnessed something tonight that left my spirit feeling a bit uneasy. My church held a revival meeting called Team Impact, in which a group of body builders preformed astonishing feats of strength. Apparently, these herculean accomplishments were designed to draw people to Jesus. The connection between annihilating a stack of flaming br
Precious puppy. Precious pictures. Precious family. I rejoice with you Brandie!
Brandie, Hey stranger. Enjoy the homecoming. May life be gentle for your family.
But the kind of funny that occurs to you long after the fact I was able to laugh about it today at work. Thanks for sharing. I hope my friends will stick around. <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-Text
I had some friends over tonight for dinner, and things didn't turn out so well. I probably should have known the evening would go south after a woman at the bank called me a white honky and berrated me about cutting in line. She had an ankle brace on, and after moving to the back of the line and repeatedly apologizing for offending her, I seriously considered smashing
I knew this post would make you a bit edgy, but I can't write for other people. I have to write what is real, what is Trinitie. This is why I love you Trin. Thanks for letting me be me.
